During the month of October the Carolina Eagles Bantam AA team raised money for JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Foundation) and then attended the JDRF One Walk®. JDRF funds research that helps to change lives of people with type 1 diabetes (T1D). They want a cure and they won’t stop until they find one. But, they also drive scientific progress that delivers new treatments and therapies that make day-to-day life with T1D a little safer and easier.

Why did Carolina Eagles Bantam AA support JDRF? Because, one of their own players has type 1 diabetes. Raising money for JDRF was a great opportunity to help their teammate and his family raise money for JDRF and create awareness for children living with T1D. The Bantam AA team also attended the JDRF One Walk® on October 28th, where they walked as a team to show support in the fight to find a cure.

We are proud to announce our Carolina Eagles Bantam AA team raised $2,838.00 for JDRF!
